Reflection

If I eventually become a teacher, the learning materials that I choose to teach and that students must study should include resources or teaching materials that truly assist the accomplishment of competence requirements and fundamental skills.

As a teacher, I begin by identifying the components contained in the competence standards and fundamental skills while selecting instructional materials. It is crucial to first determine components of competence standards and core skills that students must acquire or master before choosing learning materials. Because each part of competence standards and fundamental skills demands different forms of content in learning activities, these aspects must be identified.

The next step is to select information that adheres to competency criteria and fundamental competencies. It is necessary to determine if the material to be taught consists of facts, concepts, principles, processes, emotions, or a combination of more than one sort of information. It will be easier for the instructor to teach the content if the categories of material to be taught are identified.

Finally, decide on a teaching material source. Following the determination of the type of content, the following stage is to discover the source of the instructional material. Learning and teaching materials can be found in a variety of places, including textbooks, periodicals, journals, newspapers, the internet, audiovisual media, and so on.owledge of the characteristics of the students.
