Background Research
Before
implementing the Real Work Lecture (KKN) in Cikokol, Tangerang, a team of
Muhammadiyah University Tangerang (UMT) students conducted in-depth background
research. This research team focuses on deeply understanding local community
needs, identifying potential problems, and determining projects that can have a
positive impact on the community. This research involves direct interaction
with Cikokol residents, through interviews, surveys and group discussions, in
order to holistically understand the challenges and opportunities faced by the
local community.
The research results show several areas that require attention,
including children's education levels, public health, and economic development
potential. With this information, the UMT student team can design a KKN program
that suits the needs and potential of the Cikokol community, ensuring that
their activities can provide maximum benefits and are sustainable in the long
term. Apart from that, this background research also becomes the basis for
collaboration between UMT students and the local government and related
institutions, so that the KKN program can be effectively integrated with
ongoing development efforts in the area.
